Who Is the Warrantor?

Ryvid, Inc. (hereafter, “RYVID”)

Who Does This Ryvid Motorcycle Limited Warranty Cover?

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THIS RYVID MOTORCYCLE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE STATED PERIOD OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.

Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty applies to all original owners and any subsequent owners of a North American model Ryvid Motorcycle (“Ryvid Anthem” or “Ryvid Outset”). It is provided at no additional cost during the applicable warranty coverage period. While it is not required to receive service under this warranty RYVID strongly recommends its customers or authorized dealers submit warranty registration information on-line or contact Ryvid Customer Success in order to update their information and receive timely service in the unlikely event of a safety related or other important issue.

When a Ryvid Motorcycle is sold to a subsequent owner, while within the warranty coverage period, the new owner should submit a warranty transfer request either electronically or in writing. This should be performed to allow RYVID the ability to contact the new owner for service or warranty issues. See “How Do I Transfer Ownership and The Limited Warranty?” in your owner’s manual or contact Ryvid Customer Success.

New owners who have not received notification of a warranty transfer should contact Ryvid Customer Success at (949) 691-3495 or hello@ryvid.com with their Ryvid Motorcycle VIN and state registration, such that ownership can be verified and updated in our systems and warranty details collected.

Normal Battery Degradation:

Due to battery cell chemistry, there is a normal, expected reduction in range/capacity over time and usage. Depending on use and storage conditions, batteries will degrade at differing rates during the duration of this Limited Warranty period. RYVID will only repair or replace a battery pursuant to this Limited Warranty that has been operated according to the proper usage guidelines as outlined below and exhibits a nominal storage capacity reduction of greater than 20% of the published nominal capacity, as measured by an authorized RYVID dealer. To check the capacity of a Battery, an authorized RYVID dealer can perform a battery management system log data extraction, which will confirm if the battery has been operated according to proper usage guidelines as outlined below and whether a reduction in capacity is within expected norms.

This Limited Warranty only covers Ryvid Motorcycles that are operated according to “proper use” and “under normal operating conditions” as specified in the Owner’s Manual. The following definitions are applicable to determine whether the Limited Warranty coverage is in effect:

“Normal operating conditions” require routine care and maintenance of the Ryvid Motorcycle as described in the Owner’s Manual.

“Normal operating conditions” excludes use of the Ryvid Motorcycle in for-profit commercial or business activities, such as, but not limited to, use as a rental or delivery vehicle.

Proper use means never storing and/or leaving the Battery at a state of charge below 30% for more than 30 days or storing the battery in an environment outside of the battery’s recommended temperature range for extended periods as described in the Owner’s Manual.

In addition, this Limited Warranty does not cover:

The cost of parts and labor involved in any routine care and maintenance and/or the replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear, use, or deterioration, including but not limited to, tires, brake pads and rotors, belt drive, fork seals, grips, foot pegs, and the seat.

The original equipment tires are warranted separately by the tire manufacturer.

The replacement of fluids unless their replacement is a necessary part of warranty

service on a covered component.

Any cosmetic concerns that arise as a result of environmental conditions, owner abuse, misuse, lack of routine care and maintenance, accidents and/or other improper use.
